People are anxiously awaiting the series created by the LA-based production company Brown Paper Dolls. (I guess all the other production company names were taken.) The trailer for Milk + Honey was first released in January, but since then there’s been no word on when the web series will launch.

Where is it? Do we need to go to (exec producer) Idris’ Elba’s house to watch it?

Milk + Honey is a dramedy series created for the web that focuses on the spiritual, professional and romantic journeys of four young, ambitious women navigating through Hollywood.

The series is set amidst the culture, music, and fashion landscape of Los Angeles and will be Jeanette McDuffie’s first work as a director, although she’s worked on the crew of various films, including The Ring Two (2005), Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), Miami Vice (2006), and Daddy’s Little Girls (2007).

If you hear anything about the series launch, let us know! Maybe it’s on some secret website somewhere.

Director: Jeanette McDuffie
Executive Producer: Idris Elba
Cast: Asha Kamali, Yanni King, Shauntay Hinton, Faune Chambers, Bryce Wilson, Rob Smith, Charles Divins, Debbie Allen, Lance Gross
