The More-Educated-Yet-Idiots. The MEYI, aka The Meyi, and the nations they constitute are called the Meyinations.

Human beings are aware of their sense of both analysis and synthesis. What separates us from the animals is simply that we are capable both of identifying a tool, or a set of tools (through the synthesis of pieces of information) for use in the understanding of some other subject (by breaking down that subject into simpler parts: analysis). Humans are capable of harnessing information, or synthesizing information, for use in the equal analysis of means, or the accomplishment of goals.

For instance, humans can sharpen a stone with another stone by synthesizing information about (1) the hardness of the stone (2) the abrasive nature of the stone (3) the cleanliness of the stone and (4) the shape of the stone in order that the stone can be used in killing a rabbit for sustenance. The need for nourishment requires analysis. Taking apart a rabbit in order that its constituent parts can be digested. (No one swallows a whole rabbit after killing it, unless of course one was not a human being to begin with). The process of eating a rabbit for humans requires several steps of synthesizing and analyzing information and the subject.

The human mind then is constantly invoking a series of steps involving a balanced set of synthesizing steps and analytical ones. The implication of this constant homeostasis between synthesis and analysis leads into routine, and repetition, without causing harm to the habitat and ourselves. This is key: we are constantly tearing down, but also building up – in much the same manner as the expanding universe. Each thinking step involves a synthesizing one and a balancing analytical step. Take our long existence, in millions of years, on the planet as evidence of the homeostatic nature of human thinking and ability. Many more species have thrived alongside humans even as we depended on them for our own survival.

The human being is unique in this regard.

But the More-Educated-Yet-Idiots (the MEYI) are not so. They look human – a head, two eyes, a nose, a pair of legs… that sort of thing. They are non-human, however. Their emergence in the past five hundred or so years on the planet as thought-leaders, think-tanks, and academics has thrown the world out of balance. The Meyi are grotesque consumers: they consume more than they actually produce. Worse, they consume more than they need. As a result, they have destroyed over half of the planets entire species-fleet (and counting) in just over one hundred years. It has become exceedingly obvious that their minds are not synced for synthesizing and analyzing at the same time. In fact, the Meyi’s mind is not synced at all.

More specifically, the Meyi Nations make up only about five percent of the world’s people, but they consume more than half of the world’s entire resources—up to, and including, their appetite for stolen-free African Resources and cheap Mongol Fuel! The Meyi get a dopamine hit for consuming stuff, and buying stuff that is made from more stuff. Shopping online makes the Meyi feel better about consuming even more stuff. One Meyi at a certain renowned Meyi Producing Educational Enterprise, Harvard Medical School, claimed in a Harvard Business Review essay (a popular Meyi indoctrination center) that, as a general rule, the Meyi’s brain tweaks the Meyi’s behaviour to want even more, and more, and much more—indeed, more than human beings—both of stuff and of stimulation and novelty—because, and this is the claim, this current tweaking (or evolution) of the Meyi’s brain helped the Meyi survive in its cold-distant past.

This is the clear indication that the Meyi brain is either out of sync or was never synced to begin with—take your pick. The Meyi in one Meyi Nation (a Meyination) spent, on average about one thousand dollars on clothes last year, buying nearly 66 garments per Meyi, according to one Meyi Institute, the American Apparel and Footwear Association. That’s 20 percent more money than they spent some twenty years ago on clothes. The average Meyi bought 7.4 pairs of shoes the year prior, in that country alone, up from 6.6 pairs some twenty years back. A Meyi’s closet is any human being’s eyesore!

More, the average size of a single-family Meyi house in one Meyination was 2,426 square feet, representing a 23 percent increase in size in twenty years, according to the Meyi Educational Enterprise, the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies. Within the same period, the number of self-storage units for storing more and more Meyi stuff rapidly increased as well: There are around 52,000 such facilities in that Meyination, a fifty percent increase from just two decades ago.

The consequences of this Meyi excrescence, multiplied across all the Meyinations, are obvious. Consider that: In 2015, the Meyi in one nation alone put 16 million tons of wasted textiles in the municipal waste stream, a 68 percent increase from just twenty years prior. The Meyi succeeded in tossing 34.5 million tons of plastics into the oceans, a 35 percent increase from 2000, according to data from the Meyi Institute called the American Environmental Protection Agency. Over that same time period, the Meyi population grew just 14 percent. The Meyi, at only 5 percent of the world population, create more than 60 percent of the world’s waste every year without fail. At that rate, it is clear that the Meyi are fast depleting the resources of the planet as fast as they can.

All this resource gorging madness by the Meyinations begun just about five hundred years ago when the Meyi first appeared on the planet as thought leaders, thinkers and academics. Prior to that, human analysis worked hand-in-hand with human synthesis.

Humans can quickly and fully appreciate through deeper and wider analysis the cost of externalities for any given type of synthesis. That is to say humans have been capable, prior to the outset of the last 200 years or so, of complete analysis of a need and a complete analysis of the effects of a given synthesis on that need. Take for instance the synthesis of a sharp stone for ploughing the land to grow corn. Humans were capable of understanding that in order to sustain themselves they needed to grow what they ate (analysis). They were also capable of understanding the effect of the farm on the rest of their habitat (the final analysis). Humans then proceeded to synthesize the tool to be used for that ploughing activity (synthesis) in order to maintain their habitat and not destroy it.

The plough was then further analysed and studied over a period of time to fully grasp its effects on the farm, on the habitat and on the rest of society. Another way to put this is that humans were capable, until about 200 years ago to grasp the benefits and costs of a sharp stone for tilling the soil for growing crops on the entire ecosystem. The ecosystem is the finite space (a closed system) on the planet that is affected by the costs and benefits of human actions. Since this closed system represented the human habitat, the space on which human life depended, humans developed a keen eye (synthesis and analysis), and a keen spirit (honesty) in thoroughly considering the direct costs of their actions on the ecosystem.

That was until the Meyi showed up some five hundred years ago and descended upon the entire planet like a plague. The Meyi are a special breed of animals – humanoid alright, but incapable of human understanding. Some current science claim they are part non-human. They are some sort of a hybrid between human and some other humanoid species bent on gorging on all the planet’s resources up to, and including, cannibalizing human beings! If this is true, the Meyi are constitutionally then a contradiction in terms. Which means that the Meyinations will end up constitutionally destroying themselves. One cannot be dead and be alive at the same time. That is to say, one cannot be human and non-human at the same time. At least not for long.

This is perhaps why in only 200 years, which is just a tiny spec in the long span of human existence, Meyi activities on the planet alone are set to destroy our entire ecosystem as we knew it. The Meyi are not interested in sustenance. They are not interested in synthesis and analysis. And for that matter they are not interested in understanding the direct costs of their actions on our ecosystem. The Meyi do not want to live. They want to destroy themselves and the best route to that end is to first expand their excrescence, and then to destroy the planet—that is, to destroy their habitat and remove all possibility of the re-emergence of the human species. The Meyi does not create, he ultimately destroys!

Humanoids abound, some are just not human beings.

~ Success is a horrible teacher. It seduces the ignorant into thinking that he can’t lose. It seduces the intellectual into thinking that he must win. Success corrupts; Only usefulness exalts. ~ WP. 1. Satisfying essay. Just the methodical breakdown of western/european mis-behaviour, economically and geopolitically is, I have to admit, to the point. It’s a shame you don’t write ten essays a day, my friend!
