Luv it! She is too real.
This poem is funny. I like it. But why the guy always gotta be the bad one? We face police brutality everyday of our lives, racism every other second, jobless every other week, only so our women can say that we are never ready to commit? That we the wrong brothers?
I don’t think she ever meant it that way. She was only referring to some brother she was smith. it’s a poem man! Someone’s experience, it mightn’t be yours.
Well, why would anyone like it then of they don’t think any of it is true?
Well, it’s true because it’s her story. Someone else may be going through the same experience.
Might could just be!
