It should be needless to report, but dare I say, that some white people, especially liberals, tend to think that they are “colorblind”. Which in some circles vehemently implies that they do not have a racist bone left in them since Slavery, Jim Crow and the War on Drugs/Blacks.
How did they come by this conclusion?
White liberals, particularly, are wont to assume that Black people are just like white people but with a candid but troublesome twist – Black people are just like white people, except their skin is black. These white people also feel they know everything about race relations in America because they voted for Mr. and Mrs. Obama too, twice of course, for president.
But the way that even white liberals think about race, about skin color, undermines what they might yet learn about it and what they do not yet know or comprehend about race relations in the USA.
Thinking that Black people are white people in black skins diminishes to the point of erasing the terrifying, painful and depressing experiences of Black people in America during Slavery, Jim Crow, the War on Drugs and the Era of White Supremacist Police Departments.
White privilege begins with not even knowing about, let alone having to consider, sometimes the subtle obstacles – but in most times the overt blockades – in opportunity that a Black person has to monitor in every situation where white people are involved.
Just having to weigh at every moment in every situation just how threatening a Black person appears to these white people without having to devolve the Black person into some illusionary white person with Black skin, is the sauce that racism thrives on.
First white America has to admit to themselves that racism is decadently immoral. It is sinful in its Biblical inference. The New Testament passionately opposes it and ascribes it to people who have no moral values left.
The other thing that any white person can do to begin to heal his or her relationship to the pervasive depravity of racism in American society, is to admit to oneself that he or she knows nothing about what it feels like to be Black in America.
We know white conservatives, as of yet, wish no such thing as to even trudge along a path to an understanding of Blacks in America, nor are they ready to throw away the immorality of racism. They have no intentions to be born-again.
But if the so-called repentantly observant liberal, truly wants to take a shot at walking the ethical high ground to Golgotha, because it is the right thing to do, and truly open themselves up to hear and understand what a Black person feels, then perhaps, a sizable part of America can begin its long walk towards Calvary.
Then perhaps at Golgotha, some Americans can truly discover a sense of exceptionalism.
People are only born-again religious in name, but usually not in practice. I think the same goes for anti-racist. Some can say they are born again anti-racist, but unless this is constantly checked, the racism will creep back up to the surface.
Am I the only one who doesn’t know what is Golgotha?
Golgotha is the same name as Calvary – that is where Jesus The Christ was crucified. That is where humanity’s sins were finally cleansed off with the blood of The Christ. That is where we became saved. I am sure Nene uses it here for that verify effect, a concise analogy for salvation at Golgotha and perhaps where white America if they truly wish to understand the Black experience in America and truly want to repent can go for Salvation. It is a fitting analogy if you asked me.

Liberals are the closet racists. Conservatives have come out of the closet.
The way MSNBC covered the murders of Michael Brown and Eric Garner were terrible. Just terrible and they called themselves the lover’s of Black issues in America? No no no! These recent KKK police brutality just revealed how much racism is tolerated at that network.
Suffer me to speak to reality here. Africa Americans have been targeted straight up in America. Straight up. There is no rule of law in America? Only the rule of the gangs – either its the IRS, the KKK, the Tea Party, Wall Street, Hollywood, etc. it is still the rule of gangs. Suffer to speak to this truth that this is what continues to keep America backward, pinned to the back of history and nothing achieved in the area of sophistication in civilization.
Its a terrible reality nonetheless. I hope African Americans can begin to appreciate themselves and stop promoting the defeatist politic. Pulling pants up, not wearing hoods, not swearing, not taking up to Rap music and R&B are some of the things that some ignorant Americans, including some Uncle Tom Blacks, would continue to use as fodder to deride Black victims. The truth is, such bickering especially in Black communities is defeatist. It needs to stop!
The KKK is very much alive in our Police Departments. But it not just them. They are not the only ones keeping African Americans tacked up within the doldrums of poverty, injustices, and incrimination. The Jews of Wall Street are very much involved in the Economic Oppression of Blacks. Those of the owners of the NFL, NBA teams and who prevent Black people from purchasing teams are very much gangs too involved in the brutal oppression of African Americans daily – exploiting them at every turn of the corner.
If we are going to address the issue of inequality, we must look it in the face and tell it the painful truth.
Truly these people can claim they have reached the Moon. They claim they have reached Mars and some still claim they have reached some unknown planets in our Universe. That’s all well and good.
The fact that they cannot resolve a centuries old problem with their racism is what the world is going to remember them by. They will be remembered as a clunky civilization – a barbaric one at that. Like a mob really.
