The Metha’s Love of Europe.
I have been fortunate to spend a few moments with some accomplished psychoanalysts from various parts of the world. Some of whom used to live on the East Coast of the US, where I first met them, but who have now moved to live in various other places in the world.
When I have been fortunate to speak to them, I have taken the opportunity to question what they understand to be the “love” of the west that the colonial clerks of Africa seem to be unable to unshackle from their minds.
One reverberating point in all those conversations has been the perceived and also the reality of the access to easy sex in the west. That is, sex without consequences—without skin in the game. Sex for entertainment.
All of liberalism and neoliberalism, which has come to us from the west, can be pinned to this artifact of western behavior and existence. The west has always been where sexual deviance has emerged: the catamites of Greece, the inbreeding of their Royal Families there in their feudal systems, pedophilia (age-gap love they call it now) and such cross-sex activities.
From the west we also have a certain modern Orgasmatron Politics: Liberals who believe that the world’s geopolitical conflicts and problems can be cured with more sex (“love,” as they call it). The preoccupation with sex in the west is still now rampant, even after the fall of Christianity there (which may have civilized the west a tad bit).
In Ghana, the Mis-Educated Than His Ancestors, the METHA, have spent sometime in the west, or they may have lived in Accra where they have been in contact with the “well-traveled” Metha, or westerners themselves. Western books, western Hollywood films and the like paint the picture of this orgasmatron politics: Access to easy sex without any real consequences. There’s barely a movie without a scene of the easy access to vaginas and dicks.
It is entertaining. However, that’s all that it is. Nothing valuable is gained from this western way of thinking and this kind of western culture. Absolutely nothing. All is vanity. This is why the west continues to import and appropriate other people’s cultures in addition to their cunning exploitation of other people’s resources in order to stay economically and culturally afloat.
And so any push-back on liberal thinking, any offer of criticism against liberalism and neoliberalism infuriates the Metha and their fellow westerners. They are hooked on the dopamines of easy access to sex without any immediate consequences. They are like alcoholics and addicts and therefore any attempt to deprive them of their source of “happiness” and “comfort” is going to be met, often with, vehement uproar and sometimes even with gross violence as Hillary Clinton sodomized the leader of Libya, Muamar Gaddafi, with a knife as she roared with orgasm: “We came, we saw, he died.”
This is the essence of the Metha’s psychopathic love of the west and of anything western. He can barely take his eyes off the access to free sex lining the streets of the west. He knows he will be arrested if he came into Ntoaboma, Ghana, and tried that here. The Metha knows that. Westerners too know this. And so they love Accra, London, Paris, New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Atlanta—they love the decadence.
In a way, those of us on the other side of all this are fighting an intellectual battle against a cemented, intellectual, yet idiotic kind of decadence.
In the wild Wild West all battles boil down to the idea of restraint and if it should be enforced in a society. Of course the restless west wants no form of restraint such as the neoliberal mantra of sexual liberation or more aptly sexual chaos. The west only believes in restraint for others and not for itself. The west is incapable of viewing life in any other way. Hence those who foolheartedly follow the west become just as restless and chaotic in their beliefs, desires, and actions. The worship one god: themselves. And they have one speed: out of control.
It is generous to say that Christianity civilized the west, even a tad. Civilization is certainly one achievement that has alluded the west. But Christianity did manage to mask the barbarism to the rest of the world and make the west appear more akin to the sensibilities and senses of the rest of the world. You could say it was their overcoat of sheep’s clothing and now without the window dressing, we are seeing the real wolf.
