  1. Maybe we should start using some of that march-organizing money to build a couple of black schools a year. That will do us some more good than washing our still dirty laundry of not getting anywhere every year in white peoples faces. We are becoming more and more pathetic in our begging and imploring white people to just help us, let us in, we are Americans too! Stop it! It’s just pathetic.

Oprah, Tyler Perry and all those footballers can change Black America if they wanted to. Even if they didn’t know how they would hire some of us sisters and brothers to start taking the steps needed to making a change on our own. Instead, we make silly movies like the Butler and walk through MLK’s footsteps crying out loud that America has not changed enough for us. Just pathetic. Get some grip on yourselves and lets start to look inside and begin the steps towards selflessness and in bringing the change we want to see in Black America. Remember, you are the change you want to see.

    • You sound frustrated. And perhaps that frustration stems from the fact that America has not changed fast enough for you neither. So instead of you recognizing that salient point, you rather point the finger at others, Oprah, Tyler Perry etc., who have no control over what happens to you and what happens in America.
The purpose of this March, girlfriend, is not to wash our linings in public. Our linings are already in public and every time we wash them someone else makes them dirty. This march is to stop those who continue to pull as back to stop. Because together with our fellow countrymen and women who are white and believe in the cause of humanity we can send these kinds of strong signals to the ‘devolvers’ that we are evolving as a society and we are not about to stop!

      • How come Obama can’t send a signal to those same ‘devolvers’ you are talking about that the penalty for rack cocaine should be the same as for powder cocaine — not 18:1 in favor of white culprits. Now, that will be some signal yeah?

But these so called leaders you talk about, Obama and his recent white friend, Bill Clinton keep dilly dallying around the race problem in America. Clinton himself was central in making black men caught with crack sentenced to 100x more jail term that a white man caught with powder cocaine. Obama reduced it to 18x — great! That’s the kind of progress you people who call yourselves forward leaning want. So, who are the true ‘devolvers’ again?

    • What ever made you think that you can insult our leaders should help you figure out why you are so frustrated. Darn… you are different!

  2. Let’s think future state guys! What we want is true freedom where ever we go. And that take a little work on our part and a little work on the parts of those who control the institutions that govern and dictate our laws – who are mostly white. So this is a work in progress my dear friends. My 2 cents.
