Whenever someone wants to force a recipe like Healthcare down your throat, simply asking why is not enough! On the contrary, remaining exceedingly suspicious and distrusting, and outright refusing to take other peoples cooking can save an entire race of people.
Let me give you a short run-down of how little Denmark (little Viking state) attempted to use their Universal Healthcare System deployed into their colony, proper, in Greenland, to wipe out the indigenous Inuit peoples. This is how it went down:
1814: Greenland was transferred from the Norwegian to the Danish crown after Denmark and Norway separated.
1953: Denmark changes Greenland’s status as a colony into full integration into the Danish state. Meaning that the systematic solution (genocide) to the Inuit problem began in 1953. In the same way that the systematic solution to the Negro Problem swung into full scale as segregation was abolished and full integration enforced.
1979. Denmark grants Greenland home rule. Another way to put this is that Denmark granted Greenland Self-Rule in the same way that the British granted the Gold Coast/Ghana Self-Rule. The Danish government retains control of citizenship, monetary policy, security policies, and foreign affairs.
1992: Greenland gains some control over its healthcare system.
That was late, and it was not enough. Since the 1960s, more than 4500 women and girls were sterilized. “Some of the women were as young as 12 when they say they were fitted with an intrauterine device (IUD) by Danish doctors in an attempt to reduce the population of Greenland.” Greenland’s former prime minister, Múte B Egede, has described the IUD scandal as a “genocide”. Not my words!
