Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls took Best Movie and Taraji P. Henson and Idris Elba took Best Actress and Actor at the 2011 BET Awards that aired on Sunday, June 26.
But the most awkward moment went to Tiffany Green, a Nicki Minaj fanatic, who won the opportunity to present an award and announced the wrong winner.
It’s unclear whether BET set her up to look bad. According to Green, the teleprompter didn’t match the tablet she was reading. One said Rihanna and the other said Chris Brown. On Twitter, she accused BET for planning the mix-up.
Later, Stephen G. Hill, a BET executive, tweeted his responsibility for the mistake, stating:
[sws_blockquote_endquote align=”” cite=”” quotestyle=”style03″] That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice…mix-up was due to human error. And I was the human that made that error. I apologize to ALL affected. [/sws_blockquote_endquote]

What the heck are they doing on a scooter?
I think it’s called a segway.
No one is going to believe that story that it was just a mix up. I think Stephen Hill and BET planned this.
