The Deadline is Friday, March 22 for the American Black Film Festival’s Comedy Wings Competition.
This year ABFF launches its first-ever Comedy Wings Competition, a national search to identify outstanding comedic talent. We are looking for that special person who is naturally funny, with a true gift for comedy. You may be a comedian or actor already working hard to develop your craft, or you may be neither but know you possess big comedy wings that just haven’t taken flight yet. Either way, ABFF wants your talent to be recognized and rewarded. If you believe you have what it takes to become the next Richard Pryor, Whoopi Goldberg or Eddie Murphy…then spread those wings and enter now.
All you need is a 3 to 4 minute online video recording of yourself performing original material: either traditional stand-up comedy or a comedic sketch.

One lucky winner will receive a trip to the 2013 festival in Miami, Florida. The winner will be announced publicly at the ABFF’s Awards Presentation on Saturday, June 22.
