Tyler Perry’s first television drama The Haves and the Have Nots will premiere Tuesday, May 28th, 9/8c, on OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Originally a stage play by the same name, the series has a huge and diverse ensemble cast: Aaron O’Connell, Angela Robinson, Crystal Fox, Eva Tamargo, Gavin Houston Jaclyn Betham, John Schneider, Peter Parros, Renee Lawless, Tika Sumpter, Tyler Lepley, and Perry.

And just when you thought he would catch his breath, TP has another program premiering the following day on Wednesday May 29th, 9/8c, also on OWN – Love Thy Neighbor.
Tyler Perry Talent Search winner Darmirra Brunson stars in Love Thy Neighbor, alongside stage and television actors: Patrice Lovely, Andre Hall, Jonathan Chase, Kendra C. Johnson, Palmer Williams Jr., Zulay Henao, and Perry.
Neighbor is built around Hattie Mae (played by Patrice Lovely, a popular recurring character from previous Tyler Perry plays.
Both programs are executive produced by Ozzie Areu (President of Tyler Perry Studios) and produced by Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton.
As Perry continues his reign as the busiest man in showbiz, it only makes sense that he would eventually help out his buddy Oprah and bring some viewing traffic her way.
