Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied, the choreographer of Black Swan — the movie that Portman won the best actress Oscar for this year, now have a baby boy. Read the beginning of that romance HERE.

Details are scarce on the boy, for example, his name, but public interest remains high. What would it be?

Portman, who studied at Harvard University, is a smart and independent thinker in Hollywood. Here are some of her notable quotes, as compiled by imdb.com:

I’m going to college. I don’t care if it ruined my career. I’d rather be smart than a movie star.

When I’m working they pretty much treat me like an adult, but then when there’s a break everyone else goes to their trailers and drinks beer and I like, go to school.

I’m ready to ditch the movies and keep at the books. There are so many other things, and it would feel limiting to say, ‘Acting is it for me.’… I love psychology. That’s what I’m studying right now. It would probably be difficult, because of my current occupation, to become a clinical psychologist, but I could certainly do research. And I’d like to have a family someday, too.

Millepied, 34, was born in Bordeaux, France and raised in Senegal. Read more about his choreography for Black Swan HERE.

  1. It’s commendable that Natalie is dedicated to getting an education rather than just acting, although she can get along just fine with that. It says a lot about a person and her values. More actors should follow her lead.
