Singer/actress/dancer Cymphonique Miller will star in Nickelodeon’s new music-themed comedy How to Rock, which is set to premiere in 2012. In How to Rock, Cymphonique will play the lead singer of a rock band.

Hopefully, this show will do for Cymphonique, 14, what the Hannah Montana franchise has done for Miley Cyrus, giving her a platform to show off her acting and singing talents and to create a huge fan base.

Like Miley whose country singer father Billy Ray Cyrus helped her navigate the entertainment biz, Cymphonique is also well-grounded in a family of fame. Her father is Percy Miller, who you probably know as rapper Master P.

Her brother Romeo Miller is an actor/rapper who previously had his own self-titled show for a 53-episode run on Nickelodeon.

  1. Black kids should stop trynna act like Willow Smith or something. It’s not cool, my opinion.
Why can’t they just watch MJ in his youth and imitate that, can’t grow with im but copy him when he was young and matured!
That’s the kinda talent we wonna expose in Black Culture meeen!

  2. Definitely need more black children in TV and film. Bold effort by Cymphonique. By the way, how do you come up with a name like Cymphonique?
