After just four months in operation in Clinton, Iowa, Flav’s Fried Chicken shut its doors due to a dispute between former Public Enemy rapper and VH1 reality TV star Flavor Flav (The Surreal Life, Flavor of Love) and his business partner Nick Cimino.

The fledgling fried chicken business also had a bad rep from former employees who complained that they had not been paid for their work.

Don’t think we needed another fried chicken joint? Especially one run by a black rapper?

Well, Flav disagrees with you and has a lot to say about racism and black men selling chicken.

  1. Sound like a good name for a chicken joint but do you not pay your workers? You can’t start a chicken join in Clinton and he wants to start one in LA?

  2. I love this FF. This guys is a little riteous. I give him that. And what’s racist about a blackman starting own a fried chicken b’ness. I agree that we are all humans and this brother has gotten into some Martin Luther King stuff… I can’t help but respect his opinion on the race thing.
