Rockstone Foundation Inc. and Black Women’s Entertainment Network are running a screenwriting contest.
Main Guidelines:
–Contest is open to ANYONE.
–The web series pilot must feature a black woman as the main or lead character.
–Script must be 10 pages or less, written in the English language, not previously produced, and copyrighted or registered with the WGA.
–$25 application fee must accompany each script submission.
Selection Process:
Out of the entries, 5 semi-finalists will be chosen. These scripts will be available online where people can vote and comment. The winning script will be produced by BWE Network for broadcast on the web.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS THURSDAY, JUNE 30, 2011 so you have plenty of time. Good luck!

Why is this $25 to submit a web episode screenplay?
I hope they try’na help and not make money.
I didn’t think people paid this much to enter into a contest that is going to be judged by internet voters.
I think it is worth it to see what a lot of people think about your screenplay?
